Pitiful

I've become one of those pitiful married people. The one that pouts and gets grouchy when her husband has something better to do than hang with his wife all day.

Scott's spending the day replacing the axel on his trailor so we can use it to move. Meanwhile, I'm at home pouting that it's been six hours since I've seen him. I could be productive and pack to help pass the time. Nope. Why be productive? Blogging about missing my husband makes much more sense.

See what I mean. Totally pitiful.

First Comes Love, Then Marriage, Then....

I am a horrible blogger. It's been so long! I have so many things to post about, but I'll just give you the highlights in the 2.5 minutes I have to spare for blogging.

First, we're having a baby boy. Scott Mitchell is due July 16. I am so excited, I can hardly wait. I have dreams about my little guy all the time. I can't wait until he's here, so I can cuddle him 24/7.

Thus far, pregnancy has been a challenge. I remember my mom saying as I was growing up how good she felt while she was pregnant. Her exact words were, "I never felt better." Well, I am almost half way through my pregnancy and that is definitely not the case. There is nothing fun about throwing up 5 + times a day for four and a half months! My doctor has prescribed two different anti-nausea medicines and both have been failures (one didn't work and I was allergic to the other). At least I can say pregnancy isn't making me fat! For now, that is.

I'm pretty sure pregnancy has turned me into a child. I whine, throw fits, eat, throw up and sleep. I really have no idea how Scott puts up with me. Good thing he had a few months of normal me before pregnant me appeared. Otherwise, he might be running for the hills.

In other news, Scott and I are moving to Clearfield. We bought a new house, and we're moving in next weekend if everything goes as planned. We're sad to leave Salt Lake City (well, I'm sad), but we're excited to have a home of our own before baby arrives.

That's it for now. After we settle in, I'll try to be more timely with updates.

Update

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I thought I'd take a minute to update everyone on our life events...except that nothing is coming to mind. :)

We've been busy the last couple of months, I'm just not sure with what. I guess just with life. Scott and I have been spending A LOT of time working to get things ready for our Open House on November 6. We're getting excited! We can't wait to see how everything turns out.

We've also been working A LOT. Two weeks ago, Scott worked 58 hours in one week! He's a crazy boy, I know! While I love having the extra money that comes from working long hours, I don't like never seeing my husband.

Scott was made forman over a job in Ogden, thus the long hours. However, as a perk of being forman, Scott got the company vehicle back. Big YAY there. Since the company vehicle is back, we no longer have to fork out the big $ for gas. This, in itself, is a big relief.

Scott and I have also stayed busy hashing out our future. We've discussed/decided/rediscussed everything over and over. We are so unsure of what the future holds--we're not sure what direction we're headed in. But, we're happy and enjoying life together.

Sorry, I know that last paragraph is super vague, but when we figure stuff out I'll be more detailed.

Until next time!
